Terri's in the middle with the orange sweater! I'm so excited to share this interview with my friend Terri Fox! We met on bookstagram as fellow authors and finally met in person in May!  Read the interview here: 1.  Tell us a bit about yourself! Where you’re from, your family, hobbies, favorite things—anything fun you’d like to share!  Oh, goodness, it’s always so difficult to tell things about myself! I was raised in NC, but most of my relatives live in NJ, so my summers were spent there, so half my heart remains in NJ.  I love way too many things. Hiking, photography, music, basically anything nature and art related. I’ve played the flute for 30+ years, and in our church orchestra for 25 of those years! 2. When did you feel called to become an author? Why do you write? Do you have a favorite writing verse? I wrote poetry in high school to deal with teenage depression, but that only went as far as my private journal. I didn’t feel the call again until we were...

Guest Blogger Q & A: Drew Taylor

I'm excited to share with you the inside scoop on my friend Drew Taylor! We connected as authors through instagram several years ago, and I finally met her in person this winter. She's coming to visit me this week, and we're doing an Instagram live on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 6:30pm so be sure to tune in as we talk about Jane Austen and her impact on Christian fiction. Drew has some books with nods to Jane Austens works, so we have a bond there. Her stories are contemporary Christian fiction with romance that she calls Christian chick lit romance. It's not quite romcom, dives into heavier themes, has romance, and is filled with Jesus.  One thing I'm excited about is that she is having new covers made for her "Designated" series. They are beautiful. Be sure to check them out on Amazon or her website in the links at the bottom. Find out more about Drew below! When did you feel called to become an author? I’ve always loved stories. When I was younger, I wro...

Guest Blogger Q & A : Heather Wood

This week I have Heather Wood joining the blog! Heather is the editor for several of my books and a fellow Christian Mommy writer. I absolutely love how her books mix history, faith, and romance. And her books are heavy on the history in a good way--a way that makes you want to know more about real people and the past. Her books are ones I often recommend. Read below to see what Heather has to say about her writing. 1. Tell us a bit about yourself! Where you’re from, your family, hobbies, favorite things—anything fun you’d like to share!  I was raised in a Christian homeschooling family outside of Chicago and got my BA at Appalachian Bible College. I live in Virginia now and love it! I'm always taking my four homeschooled kids to historic sites, camping in state parks, or on day trips to enjoy the mountains or beach. I've always loved to read Christian fiction and American history books. 2. When did you feel called to become an author? Why do you write? Do you have a fav...

I’ve lived among the Virginia mountains for more than 20 years with my husband and kids. By day, I homeschool, run a full-time content marketing freelance business, keep house, care for my family, and have mini adventures. We love a good waterfall, mountain view, or meandering wood walk. In stolen hours, I write novels about Jesus and dragons. 2. When di...
