Studying Your Bible-Picking a Bible study or reading plan
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Have you read through all of the Bible? It’s difficult to stand firm in our faith when we don’t know scripture. It’s too easy for people to twist the words of God and for unknowledgeable Christian’s to miss it. It’s also difficult to speak truth into the world if we don’t know it. I highly suggest spending time in God's word each day. His word is our sustenance.
I also encourage you to both read the Bible through and do shorter in depth book studies. You don't have to do them at the same time, or if you do, you may want to go through the Bible at a slower pace. Another great way to "read" through the Bible is to listen to it on audio. Most Bible apps allow you to listen. The Youversion Bible and the ESV Bible apps do have this feature.
Bible Studies I love are Precept Ministries studies https://www.precept.org, Bible Study Fellowship https://www.bsfinternational.org, and Jen Wilkins Studies available through Lifeway or Amazon https://amzn.to/4smX1TA .
