I’m a sucker for marriage of convenience, but it’s hard for a contemporary romance author to get it right. Latisha knocked it out of the park. This feels realistic and is done with the main characters’ faith fully intact.


When Bram learns the love of his life is married he goes through heartache. He soon finds out the love of his life’s sister (a long time family friend) has a medical diagnosis and needs help. He steps up for a marriage of convenience, because he is that hero you’ve always hoped for. But that’s not the way Quinn Jone’s imagined her life going.


Reading about how these two navigated awkward feelings, desire for romantic love, and the revelation of family secrets had me quickly reading to the end to see how they got their happily ever after. 


Both Bram and Quinn have a strong faith that is admirable. By the end they learned more about themselves, love, and God.


Only kisses are shown on page. There is vague reference to more within marriage for the main characters, and inappropriate behavior for side characters. This clean romance will encourage your faith to trust God and follow where He leads!


Synopsis:

The old man creeps down the street in his truck and I fuss. Doesn't he know people are in a hurry? I get distracted and pull out in front of someone, causing them to honk their horn. Good grief, can't they be patient? Bringing Christ to Christmas Gift Giving

What better way to put Christ back into Christmas than to give Christ centered gifts! When our first child had his first Christmas we decided to give only 3 gifts as a reminder that Jesus received 3 gifts from the wisemen. Each gift had a category: want, need, and spiritual. As the children have gotten older and are adults, the want and need often overlap.  There have been so many benefits from this. Limiting the gifts has been great at keeping the focus more on Christ. Rather than spending this season figuring out what they want, our children's focus has been freed up for other things. They are actually often at a loss, because gifts for themselves are not their top priority.
